Making-up turns fabric into the article a buyer receives. At this stage, a towel needs finished edge and label details, while a robe also needs a complete garment measurement chart. This guide helps keep those requirements explicit.

Discuss your specification

Provide finished measurements

For towels, state dimensions and hem or border details. For robes, include body length, chest width, sleeves, collar or hood, pockets and belt measurements by size. Define the measurement method and tolerances so samples and production are checked consistently.

Review workmanship on the article

Assess seams, hems, pocket attachment, belt loops and label placement as applicable. Inspect the reverse as well as the face. If embroidery is included, approve it on the selected fabric and record its position relative to finished edges.

Approve labels and packing together

Check brand labels, size labels and the proposed care information against the order specification. Confirm how articles are folded and packed. A fabric approval alone does not resolve a garment’s fit, assembly or final presentation.

What to include in your enquiry

  • Finished dimensions and measurement method
  • Seams, hems and attached components
  • Labels and approved folding
  • Quantities, delivery country, required date and packing requirements.

Al Haseeb Textiles reviews your brief against the proposed quality. Request written confirmation of the specification, sample terms, minimum quantities, price and programme timing. Keep the approved sample and quotation together as the purchasing reference.

A question buyers ask

Can a fabric swatch approve a finished bathrobe?

It can approve selected fabric properties, but garment fit, stitching and component placement need a complete sample.
